1. Data We Collect
Name, email, phone, nationality, passport number, booking and payment records. Passport numbers are stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) and only the last 4 digits are ever displayed.
2. Purpose
To process rental bookings, confirm payments, issue receipts, provide customer service, and meet legal obligations.
3. Retention
Booking and financial records are retained for 3 years for tax and accounting purposes, then securely deleted or anonymized.
4. Security
Data is stored in Supabase with Row Level Security, transmitted over HTTPS, and the admin panel is restricted to authorized administrators.
5. Third Parties
We use Supabase (database), Resend (email), PayPal (payments), and Vercel (hosting). We never sell your personal data.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing camperoadtaiwan@gmail.com.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies for login sessions and language preference only — not for advertising tracking.
8. Uploaded Documents
Documents you upload before pickup (passport, driver's licenses, car excess insurance, student proof) are stored in a private, access-restricted location and used solely to verify your identity and driving eligibility for this rental. They are automatically and permanently deleted within 60 days after the vehicle is returned. Uploading is optional; you may also send them via email or WhatsApp.
